What We Look For:

 

ThinkImpact is looking for the next generation of social entrepreneurs: people who are passionate, ambitious, adventurous and excited to learn about market-based solutions to poverty alleviation.

The Innovation Process is for anyone who is open-minded, curious and eager to learn. Scholars do not need a background in business or design to be successful on this program.

 

 What We Are Asking: 

ThinkImpact asks all applicants to complete a short application consisting of 4 short answer questions (detailed below) and a copy of your most recent resume.

1. What has been your most entrepreneurial and/or creative pursuit to date?

2. Give us confidence that you can adapt to the following: very limited access to Internet, bucket bathing and lack of variety in food choices.

3. Why do you want to spend 8 weeks of your summer in rural Africa?

4. Tell us about a time that you had to work with someone on a project who was particularly difficult to deal with. Why do you think they were difficult?

 Requirements:

• Must be enrolled at an accredited American or Canadian College/University or a working professional in America or Canada
• Must have a U.S. or Canadian passport or student visa.

January 17 – 31: Round 1 Interviews

 

February 3: Round 1 Acceptance Notification

 

February 28: Round 1 Deposit Due

 

February 22: Round 2 Application Due

 

February 27: Round 2 Interview Notification

 

February 28 – March 12: Round 2 Interviews

 

March 16: Round 2 Acceptance letters sent out

 

April 6: Round 2 Deposit Due
